ANNUAL RETURN SUBMISSIONS
Need someone to take care of the submission of your Annual Returns to CIPC?
Using a quick and easy online process, we can submit the Annual Returns for your company or close corporation to the CIPC on your behalf every 12 months, saving you the time and trouble of doing this yourself.
By submitting your Annual Returns to CIPC every year, your business contact details will remain up-to-date, which is a legal requirement, and your company or close corporations operating status will also remain ‘active’.
If your company or close corporation is currently in the deregistration process, there is the strong likelihood that we can still submit your Annual Returns for you. Our CIPC Specialists will be able to provide you with all the advice and guidance that you need regarding this and any other concerns that you may have regarding the deregistration or reregistration of your company or close corporation.
OUR PROCESS…
Filing:
We will file your Company’s Annual Returns using the information you have given us. CIPC will then confirm if the deposit fee is enough to cover your Company’s Annual Return Fee. This will only occur in the following instances:
Your Company is not in the Deregistration Process.
Your Company’s turn-over is less than R1 million for the past financial year.
There are no penalties on your account.
Confirmation:
We will process the Annual Return Submission and receive your Annual Return Certificate within 2 working days.
UBUNTU EXPERT INSIGHT…
The purpose for the filing of an Annual Return is to confirm whether a company or close corporation is still in business or whether it will still be trading in the near future. The annual return may be considered as an annual renewal of the company or close corporation’s registration.
Although the CIPC does send reminders via SMS or email to the members or directors of a company or close corporation as a reminder to file Annual Returns, it helps to make a note of when your company or close corporation was first registered.
Companies need to file their Annual Returns within 30 business days starting from the anniversary date of the day after the original registration date. Close corporations on the other hand need to file Annual Returns on any day within the anniversary month that it was registered, up until the month thereafter. Though the filing of Annual Returns may still be done after these times, an additional penalty fee will apply.
