Losing your original company registration documents and then trying to retrieve them from the CIPC can be a frustrating process, which is why we are here to resolve this challenge for you quickly and simply.

Your company registration documents are located at CIPC’s head office as both an electronic document. By providing us with your registered company name, as well as your company registration number, we will be able to retrieve your original company registration documents, which will include either a CK1 document for a Closed Corporation (also known as a CC), or a Cor14.3 document in the case of a Proprietary Limited (or unlimited company – (Pty) Ltd.) – in the shortest possible time.

Retrieving your company registration documents is much cheaper and quicker than registering a new company altogether. In addition, you may no longer register a Closed Corporation (CC), so if you already have one registered, it most certainly is beneficial to keep this legal entity as you remain exempt from the need to convene an Annual General Meeting.
